We’ve arrived in Syria. Whoop!

This feels like a big step, stepping into the Middle East. Signs are in Arabic, the air is warm and the streets are full of evening life. And we’re a day early. Unexpected. The call to prayer has just begun, wafting down from a minaret somewhere.

Also, two gigs in Ramallah are on the cards: on the 1st and 2nd of April. I’ll let you know the venue when I hear.

By the way, comments on the blog have now been enabled, so if anyone’s got feedback or tips or anythings about the trip, you can post them there.
